Public speaking

As one of the most common phobias Glossophobia or fear of public speaking deserves special mention.

It can range from the fairly mild, feeling nervous – a little tongue tied and difficulty in concentrating to the very severe with panic attack like symptoms: difficulty breathing, dizziness and palpitations. The situations in which it arises vary a lot too from presenting in meetings, taking part in conference calls talking one to one especially with a more senior person to talking on the telephone and for some people it is any form of talking with other people.

What causes this fear is as individual as you are which is why I believe that using any script based approach cannot bring about lasting change. If we work together to learn about you, and what causes you to behave in the way that you do we can come up with a solution that is both effective and long lasting.
